This leash will easily outlast the cheaper rope leash alternatives as our rope is rock climbing quality. The hardware is just as solid and the design is perfect for adventure.
We ran through numerous... NUMEROUS options as to how this leash works best. We tried welding solid knots, adding paracord, shrink wrap, and metal collars to hold the leash in place...
But nothing excelled as a minimal leash style similar to what we used with Summit. After all, we are obsessed with multiple applications and uses, so when we tried the other options, they always seemed to subtract some of our favorite parts of a real, high-quality rope leash.
Untie the knot, and it's the perfect "dragger"
Want a short leash? Tie a shorted handle and make a"tail" (See video)
Want a slip lead? No problem, feed it back through the carabiner.
This leash comes with a carabiner and handle tied. With the handle untied it is roughly 6ft.
It's up to you just how long you want it, and you can always make it shorter depending on the day, trail, pup, etc!
